Responsible for teaching three dimensional studies in the foundations program (First Year Program).  Instruction of the use and safety of the woodworking shop, and principles of three dimensional design.   

 

            Graduate Assistant Technician- Bowling Green, OH       August 2013-May 2014

Responsible for assisting with maintenance of glass and sculpture studios.  Duties included ensuring the glass furnaces were sufficiently charged, supervising weekly cleaning, repairing sculpture studio equipment and facilities and monitoring open studio hours.

Metal Fabrication - oxygen-acetylene torch cutting and brazing, plasma cutter, MIG and stick welding, sheet metal forming, and forging, power and pneumatic tools, finishing and polishing 

 

Foundry - casting bronze, aluminum and cast iron, mold making techniques with ceramic shell and lost wax processes

 

Stone - carving with power and hand tools, stone cutting, polishing and laminating

 

Wood - expert with hand and power tools and shop equipment, power and hand carving, steam bending, construction, finishing and maintenance of woodworking tools and machinery including SawStop brand table saws
